The new centre has been custom built to provide outstanding facilities for all aspects of the performing arts, and visitors were able to watch our students take part in dance and acting workshops in the exciting new performance spaces.
They were also treated to live music as current student, Claudia Whittall, gave a wonderful acoustic guitar and vocal performance in the incredible new theatre.
The launch event featured the 50th anniversary exhibition and concluded with the unveiling of a heritage sculpture, designed by Art & Design student, Ben Rose.
Principal, Keith Bate, said, "I am delighted with this final addition to the fantastic accommodation at Halesowen College, the culmination of a five-year redevelopment plan.
"This investment will benefit Performing Arts students, present and future, and the opening of the centre is a suitable celebration of 50 years of exemplary education."
